Addressing Addiction and Providing Support for Trauma Survivors

In the wake of war, loss, and overwhelming grief, many Ukrainians face not only physical wounds but deep emotional scars that can lead to addiction. Women whose husbands never returned from war, veterans who have lost limbs, parents who have lost their children, and individuals who suffer from PTSD or failed to receive psychological or financial support in time—these are the people who desperately need our help. Their pain is immense, and without timely intervention, it often spirals into alcohol and drug dependency.

This is where the “Direct Conversation” project comes in. It is our answer to the needs of those who feel lost, abandoned, and overwhelmed by their suffering. It’s our promise to stand by them as they navigate the difficult path of healing.

Angels of Ukraine is committed to providing comprehensive support for those in Ukraine who are grappling with addiction issues. Our initiative includes the establishment of rehabilitation centers, where individuals can receive therapeutic support through specialized programs such as detoxification, inpatient recovery, and outpatient treatment.
